The Can-Do Playground is a Boundless Playground® located at Alapocas Run State Park just outside of Wilmington, Delaware. It was conceived in 2003 as a gift to the community in celebration of the Centennial of Rotary International. It has been a joint effort of the Wilmington Delaware Area Rotary Clubs Community Fund, a non-profit organization created by the Rotary clubs of northern New Castle County, Delaware with our partners from the Delaware Division of Parks & Recreation, the Delaware Department of Transportation and the National Center for Boundless Playgrounds®. The Center is the first national nonprofit dedicated to helping communities create extraordinary playgrounds where children, with and without disabilities, can develop essential skills for life as they learn together through play.

The Can-Do Playground was the first public playground of its kind in the state, celebrating its 10th anniversary on July 15, 2017. Our vision for the next decade is to better meet the needs of children of all abilities by strengthening and expanding inclusive play areas that focus on physical, cognitive, communicative, social/emotional and sensory development of the whole child. We will add an interpretive area of play with a connection to nature; we are repairing the heavily used play area ramps and maximizing the area covered by special rubberized surfaces.
